The City of Buffalo Department of Public Works, Parks and Streets is excited to announce the Allen Street Reconstruction Project Phase 1 (Main Street to Delaware Avenue) will begin construction on 3/11/19. The initial work will focus on utility upgrades, in particular a new waterline. There will be daily closures to certain intersections and block by block closures as the water main is installed along Allen Street. This work will be followed by a full block closure from Main Street to N. Pearl Street as the first block of the project receives a full reconstruction.
