The next task in the sewer work phase will involve closing Allen Street from N. Pearl Street to Franklin Street, including the Allen Street and Franklin Street intersection. Beginning May 1, 2019, Franklin Street will be converted from one-way northbound to two-way vehicular traffic from Virginia Street to Allen Street and from Allen Street to North Street during various times. No parking will be allowed on the entire west side of Franklin Street between Virginia Street and North Street during this time as indicated by the “DO NOT STAND” signs posted. There should be no parking at any hour on the west side during this closure.
Please be advised of traffic pattern changes and modifications to the traffic signals in the area. The block from Main Street to N. Pearl Street will remain closed. Schedules are subject to change and will be updated accordingly.
