Beginning 6/24/2019 at 8 AM, the test panels for the concrete color options on Allen Street will be available for public viewing and comment. The test panels will be located at the NW corner of the Allen Street and N. Pearl Street intersection. A hard copy of the comment sheet is available at the field office (19 Allen Street) or a PDF version is available to print from the Gallery section of the website. Please complete one comment sheet per person, be sure to mark an “X” under either color option 1 or 2, and add any additional comments if desired. View the photo “Allen Street Rendering with Zone Callouts” in the Gallery section of the website for a visual of the zones where the concrete colors will be placed.
The Project staff will hold informational sessions at the test panel location on Monday 6/24/2019 from 11 AM to 3 PM, Tuesday 6/25/2019 from 3 PM to 7 PM, and Wednesday 6/26/2019 from 6 AM to 10 AM. Please visit the field office during business hours (7 AM to 3 PM) to ask any questions if one of the informational session times does not work within your schedule.
Comment sheets should be delivered to a member of the project staff (Bergmann) in person at the field office (19 Allen Street) or at one of the informational sessions. Comment sheets can also be emailed to bhammerton@bergmannpc.com. Comment sheets will be received from 6/24/19 (Monday starting at 8 AM) until 7/1/19 (Monday ending at 3 PM). The Project staff, in collaboration with the community input and the City of Buffalo DPW, will make the final color option decision on 7/1/19. Thank you in advance for your feedback!
